Mission

HackZurich features as part of the Digital Festival, and this year, it will be running from Friday, 15 September, to Sunday, 17 September 2017. Founded in 2014, HackZurich has rapidly developed into one of the largest and most prestigious hackathons in Europe. A total of 550 international participants are selected from over 3500 applications from more than 50 countries, and over the course of 40 hours, they will work in teams to develop highly innovative prototypes for web, mobile and desktop applications. The focus here is firmly on fun, exchanging knowledge, the unique atmosphere and opportunities for mutual learning and inspiration.

Participants will enjoy support from innovative national and international companies from a wide range of different industries. This will give participants the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and to apply their knowledge and experience in practice.
